At VoiceworX we understand all childrens needs and cater for these from teaching the basic vocal techniques such as breathing and pitch through to the more advanced performance skills. We offer both Private lessons and small group classes to all students to strict beginners right through to seasoned professionals. We offer classes and private lessons for children from the age of 4. Our teachers are experienced in tutoring students through their HSC music 1 and music 2 subjects, in performance, theory and composition
Private Lessons
At VoiceworX we work collabortively with the students and teacher to completely individualise their lessons based on their age, ability and aspirations. As with all our other classes, we focus on basic singing techniques such as posture, breathing, pitch and musicality but also take into account the students vocal style and strengths. We also offer the AMEB Singing, Singing for Leisure and Musical Theatre Syllabus'. We feel that the vocal health of our students is of utmost importance and we work with them to ensure this Our private lesson students are given the opportunity to perform at out Mid and End of Year concerts as well as eisteddfods throughout the year, however it is not compulsary. |
Group Classes
Our group classes numbers are kept small so that our students can master the basics of singing without being overwhelmed by having to sing by themselves without being absorbed into a large group of voices. Group Classes focus on singing techniques, singing in small groups and learning basic harmonies with the added benefits of performing at our mid and end of year concerts. |
Stagecraft Classes
Our stagecraft class is open to our private lesson students, learn aspects of performing – microphone technique, how to move around the stage, walk in heels (for the girls) and how to overcome performance nerves and anxiety. This class is most beneficial to students who wish to take their music education further and the skills they learn in this class can assist them in auditions and performances in the future. |
